Businesses Can Receive Up To £15,000...

Towards EV Charging Installations

If you have been considering having EV chargers installed at your business premises now is the time to do it.

The UK government is offering eligible businesses grants up to £15,000 towards their EV chargers and installation.

This is a brilliant opportunity to have EV charging infrastructure installed at your premises with a huge offering from the government.

As per the UK government’s website, to qualify for the grant, as a minimum you would need to have 5 parking spaces installed with charging infrastructure, and to install one EV charger. This would provide for a maximum available grant of £2,850.

If 10 spaces are provisioned with charging infrastructure via one single socketed charger and 9 future connection locations for single socketed chargers you could receive maximum the available grant of £5,000.

The total amount that a single business site can receive is £15,000.

The EV government grant is only available for businesses until April 2024.

Here at NSN we can help navigate you through the funding process as well as providing you with the best charging solution for your business.

'2 lovely gentlemen fitted 2 electric vehicle charging points for us. They were friendly, professional, and polite, answering all questions that we had. They were also very careful not to leave doors open so our dogs didn't escape. A top-quality service '

Frequently asked questions

Do you require groundworks for your EV installation?

When groundworks are required for an EV charger installation we take care of everything internally.

All work will be quoted for in advance and planned out carefully to ensure a tidy and efficient EV installation.

Can I Charge My Car Using A Solar Panel?

In short yes you can, but there are only certain makes of EV charger that will integrate with solar panels.

We work with the Zappi EV charger that integrates with solar energy. The Zappi can both operate as a standard home car charger, using power from the grid, or it has optional charging modes which use 100% green energy generated from your own home Solar PV system.

How does the government workplace charging scheme work?

We send you a link to apply direct. It only takes 5 minutes, and you receive your voucher code within 24hours. You then pass the voucher code onto us with acceptance of your quote.  We have 180 days to complete your installation with the voucher valid. Obviously, we aim to get the installation carried out much faster. We put the application in with your voucher codes and receive the grant directly.
